I thought I would share a picture of a really cool light fixture I saw in South Africa. I know that using galvanized metal is really popular right now and I thought this was a really cool idea to get that industrial look in your home for very little money. I would of course use a ceiling medallion to cover the hole in the ceiling and wire it properly so that the wires do not show but I thought the general idea was great. The best part is that all the parts should be easy to find at your local lumber yard.
